Frequently Asked Questions
Nutritional Information
What Ingredients are used in Good Form Foods walnut butter?
We keep our walnut butter clean, craveable, and made only with high-quality, real-food ingredients. Each flavor is crafted for both taste and performance:
Original (Creamy & Crunchy):
- Sprouted Walnuts – Soaked in pink Himalayan salt to reduce antinutrients and dried at a low temp to enhance nutrient absorption.
- Organic Madagascar Vanilla (powder) – For a naturally rich, dessert-like flavor.
- Monk Fruit – A zero-calorie sweetener for subtle sweetness without sugar or artificial ingredients. (NO ERYTHRITOL)
- Pink Himalayan Salt – we don't add any but we do soak our walnuts with it to optimally remove anti-nutrients.
*We used to call ORIGINAL, MINIMAL because there is very little of each ingredient. Less than 0.05 gram monk fruit goes into a jar.
Vanilla Frosting (Creamy & Crunchy):
- Sprouted Walnuts – Soaked in pink Himalayan salt to reduce antinutrients and dried at a low temp to enhance nutrient absorption.
- Plant-Based Vanilla Proteins – A blend of Orgain® Organic Protein & Superfoods and Sprouts® Vanilla Vegan Protein, including pea and brown rice protein, superfoods, and digestive enzymes.
- Pink Himalayan Salt – we don't add any but we do soak our walnuts with it to optimally remove anti-nutrients.
When it comes to the plant-based protein powders, we add very little. Less than a quarter serving per jar.

Where do you get your walnuts? Do you soak and sprout them yourselves?
We source our high-quality, non-GMO walnuts from trusted farms in California, home to some of the best walnut growers in the world.
Yes—we soak and sprout every single batch ourselves. The walnuts are soaked in pink Himalayan salt to help reduce antinutrients like phytic acid, then gently dried at low temperatures to preserve nutrients and support better digestion.
It’s a labor-intensive process, but it’s what makes Good Form walnut butter different: clean, functional, and made with intention from start to finish.
Are Good Form Foods products organic?
No, our walnut butter is not certified organic—and we’re intentional about that.
We use high-quality, non-GMO walnuts that are not organically certified because in the case of walnuts, the organic label doesn’t make a meaningful difference in nutrition, safety, or quality. Walnuts are grown inside thick, protective shells, which places them on the “Clean 15” list—meaning they’re naturally resistant to pesticide residue and don’t require organic certification to be considered safe or clean.
In short:
between organic and non-organic walnuts.
and sprouted to enhance digestibility and nutrient absorption.
Our commitment is to clean, real-food ingredients that deliver real performance. Always.
Are your products vegan, gluten-free, and keto friendly?
Yes—our walnut butters are:
- Vegan – No animal products, dairy, or honey. We use only plant-based ingredients.
- Gluten-Free – No wheat, barley, rye, or gluten-containing ingredients. While our facility isn’t certified gluten-free, we do not process any gluten and follow strict cleaning protocols.
- Keto-Friendly – Our Original flavor is ultra low-carb, with zero added sugar and less than 1 gram of net carbs per serving. The Vanilla Frosting flavor contains a small amount of plant-based protein powder, but it still fits well into most keto lifestyles (just check your personal carb tolerance).
Whichever flavor you choose, you're getting clean, nutrient-dense fuel that fits your lifestyle.
Do Good Form Foods products contain any preservatives or additives?
No artificial preservatives. No junk.
Our Original sprouted walnut butter contains no palm oils or seed oils—just clean, real ingredients. We soak our walnuts in pink Himalayan salt, which naturally preserves them and supports a 1-year shelf life without the need for refrigeration.
Our Vanilla Frosting flavor uses a small amount of plant-based protein powders, which contain trace amounts of certified organic, soy-free, and non-GMO seed oils. These are part of the creamer base in one of the protein blends and make up less than ¼ serving per jar.
We’re committed to transparency and only include ingredients that meet our standards for quality, digestion, and performance.
How should products be stored, and how long do they last?
Our walnut butter is shelf-stable for up to one year thanks to the natural preserving effect of our sprouting process with pink Himalayan salt.
Refrigeration is not required, but you can chill it if you prefer a thicker texture or want to extend freshness even further.
Always use a clean, dry spoon to avoid introducing moisture.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Whether you keep it in the pantry or the fridge, it’s ready when you are—spreadable, scoopable, and still delicious months later.
What are the health benefits of sprouted walnut butter?
Walnuts are one of the most nutrient-dense foods on the planet—and sprouting them takes those benefits to the next level.
Here’s what you get in every spoonful:
- Brain + Mood Support – Walnuts are the richest tree nut source of ALA omega-3 fatty acids, which play a key role in brain function, nervous system support, and mood regulation.
- Heart Health – ALA, polyphenols, and antioxidants in walnuts help reduce inflammation and support cardiovascular health.
- Hormone + Skin Support – The healthy fats in walnuts are essential for hormone production, skin elasticity, and cellular repair.
- Natural Antioxidants – Walnuts contain high levels of polyphenols and vitamin E, which help fight oxidative stress and support recovery.
- Gut + Digestion Friendly – Our walnuts are sprouted—soaked in pink Himalayan salt and gently dried at low temps—which helps reduce phytic acid and enzyme inhibitors. This makes the nutrients more bioavailable and easier on your gut.
- Plant-Based Protein + Fiber – Each serving provides clean energy with no crash, supporting blood sugar stability and satiety.
You get all the power of the walnut—amplified. Clean fuel your body actually knows how to use.
Allergies & Dietary Concerns
Is walnut butter safe for those with peanut or tree nut allergies?
No. Our walnut butter is not safe for individuals with tree nut allergies, as walnuts are classified as tree nuts.
While our facility is not peanut-free, we do not use peanuts in our products.
We always recommend caution:
- If you have a tree nut allergy, you should avoid our products.
- If you have a peanut allergy only, consult your healthcare provider before consuming, as cross-reactivity can still be a concern for some individuals.
Your safety comes first—always check with your doctor or allergist if you’re unsure.
Are other nuts processed in the same facility?
We currently share our kitchen with other food entrepreneurs who may use nuts in their products.
